Scientific exchange.
No commercial interest.

What you see here is exactly what it is. A private account run entirely out of personal interest, with zero commercial angle. No agency behind it, no consulting practice being promoted, nothing for sale. I run it myself, I pay for it myself, and I share what I know because knowledge should circulate freely.

I have spent well over two decades working in forensic anthropology across four continents, and at some point I stopped seeing the point in keeping all of that locked inside expert circles. So if you drop a question about skeletal remains, osteological features, age estimation, sex determination, trauma patterns or forensic identification in my DMs or the comments, I will answer it. Thoroughly, honestly, and at no cost. That is what a scientific community is supposed to do.

Researchers, students, medical professionals, law enforcement, curious people from everywhere in the world. All welcome. Forensic anthropology has always thrived on cross-border collaboration and multidisciplinary thinking, and this is my small, entirely personal contribution to that.

Exclusively international.

I publicly announced in September 2025 that I no longer take cases or engagements within Germany, and that will not change. My forensic work is exclusively international, and this account has nothing to do with any of it professionally. Nothing posted here is an offer, an advertisement, or a solicitation of any kind under German or European law.

What I share here are personal observations, scientific explanations, and content from my own life. This includes forensic analyses of skeletal material posted purely for educational and scientific purposes, free of charge and without any commercial intent whatsoever. Beyond that, this account also features personal photography from my everyday experiences, animals and pets, art, and private moments from my life. All of it personal, none of it commercial.

Sharing scientific knowledge without compensation is neither a commercial act nor a legal grey area. It is expressly protected as freedom of science and freedom of expression under Article 5 of the German Basic Law. This account operates entirely within that framework.

Intellectual property.

Everything published here, images, osteological analyses, case commentary, written text, all of it belongs to me unless I have explicitly stated otherwise. If you want to use something, ask. I am generally not opposed to it, but I want to know about it and be credited for it. Using my work without permission or attribution is not something I will overlook.
